I love tea & I love fairytales. Alice's Tea Cup combines them perfectly.
This whimsical tea house satisfies my craving for tasty tea, warm scones, and a magical atmosphere.
I have heard of this place before and thought it would be the perfect spot to bring my friend, Carmela, on our Christmas date, since her appreciation for fairytales is as extensive as mine. As soon as we walked in, we were surrounded by purple string lights, playing cards hanging from the ceiling, an elaborate display of teas with names such as "Alice's Faerie Potion" and "Drink-Me-Detox," and many quotes from Alice in Wonderland.
Since there are three locations, we chose to go to Chapter II (ahhh!! they are named as if they were chapters in a book!!). With its display of crooked picture frames, the random array of fairy wings, the tea cups that didn't match, and the blue walls, the tea house perfectly represented the craziness of the Mad Hatter scene from the movie.
Being a fairytale fanatic, a Once Upon a Time enthusiast, and a tea lover, Alice's Tea Cup was absolutely perfect.
PLEASE, if you love fairytales, make sure to stop by this place. AND if you don't love fairytales, watch every single Disney movie, read every single Grimm original (or don't because they are pretty gruesome), and binge Once Upon a Time until you love them.
